We celebrate the visionaries of lens based art practice. This Award is dedicated to those young artists who bridge the gap between observer and observed - shedding light on social issues, struggle of our environment or raising voice against oppression.
InDPC Documentary Award is a radical refusal to reduce human experience to passive content. In an age dominated by transactional media, algorithmic saturation, and superficial aesthetics, we reclaim documentary practice as an act of cultural preservation and community resistance. Here, documentary photography is not a passive mirror; it is a living archive and a brand of authentic cultural truth. By giving power back to long-form, deeply rooted narratives, we challenge the shallow rhythms of the digital age with stories that hold structural weight. We celebrate the image as a space of shared dignity, proving that when a community’s truth is captured with uncompromising depth, visual storytelling becomes a force for genuine agency, accountability, and collective power.
We are looking for visual storytellers who don’t follow trends but dare to share their truth with the world.
